For having suffered the violence of seven Himalayan Sherpas, the Countess Valentina Contarini has fallen ill of "fallophobia" and consults a healer, a supposed extraterrestrial who is actually a young Swedish man who "works" for certain American psychologists.

1945. After releasing two armored boxes in the bay of Istanbul, a plane crashes into a mountain. The pilot survives but goes crazy and is admitted to an asylum. Twenty years later a man disappears.

Edoardo and Ottavio were high school classmates and best friends, but 30 years have passed and they've long since lost touch.
